Computer vision for the removal of line pieces

Problem

An automatic system for collecting pieces with great geometric variability is needed at the exit of an enamel furnace.

Objective

Detect the type of piece and collect them.

ATRIA Solution

Intelligent system that recognizes the shape of the piece and “decides” the best way to pick it up from the large typology of pieces.
A robotic arm assisted by computer vision and controlled by artificial intelligence was installed for the removal of the pieces.
