Problem
Launch a new fish market with a lift/tilt system. Therefore, it is necessary to verify that said system works perfectly for a minimum of 5 years.
Objective
Develop an accelerated test that simulates the movement that the mechanical system would have during the first 5 years of life.
ATRIA Solution
After studying the actual operation of the equipment, the number of cycles that it would carry out during 5 years of life was estimated. From this calculation, using a PLC and an actuator, an automated test was designed and programmed that simulated 5 years of life in 2 weeks.
During the test, accelerated wear was detected, which was solved before launching the product on the market.
