Microperforation
We create tiny holes in a material, thereby modifying its properties, allowing us to control the flow of elements passing through it.
Problem
The mechanical process for drilling holes in a stainless steel plate. with a very thin thickness, it does not offer an aesthetic finish (burrs, plugging of micro-perforations, deformation and warping of the sheet metal).
Objective
Optimize and replace the mechanical microperforation process with a gas-assisted laser system of up to 50 microns in diameter, to avoid deformations and obstruction by burrs.
