Problem

Know the reason why there is an accelerated wear of one of the parts of a commercial product.

Objective

Determine the origin of the failure and develop a test capable of replicating it. In this way it will be possible to study new materials that improve the current result of the piece.

ATRIA Solution

The production process was visited and the useful life of the piece was studied, detecting the situations where wear occurred. From these observations, an accelerated test was developed that replicated the failure in the current part.
The test developed allowed selecting materials that better withstand wear and considerably increased the useful life of the final product.
