Petition / Problem
In a line for gluing aesthetic profiles for glass-ceramic glass, there are several options for the same glass model but in different colours. The need arises to check if the color of the profile is correct for each crystal.
Objective
Automatically carry out a visual check of the type of aesthetic profile in a glass-ceramic glass.
ATRIA Solution
To carry out the project, a vision system made up of several industrial cameras installed in replica positions of the production process is developed. Using a vision algorithm, the images obtained are processed to determine the color of the aesthetic profile that will be added to the glass-ceramic glass.
The system is integrated and communicated with the production line to verify that the profile placed in the gluing station is correct.
