Objective: Improving sustainability, energy efficiency, and industrial digitization
The IA4Q project, “Artificial Intelligence for Quality and Inspection in Industrial Plants,” led by Stellantis’ Zaragoza Plant, involves investments exceeding 10 million euros. It aims to develop proprietary technology for products and processes, ensuring maximum sustainability, energy efficiency, and promoting industrial digitalization.
This funded project has received subsidies from CDTI (Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology) and the State Research Agency under the 2023 TransMisiones Initiative, within the scope of the State Program to Catalyze Innovation and Business Leadership, and the State Program to Promote Scientific-Technical Research and its Transfer, both part of the 2021-2023 State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation.
The total project budget is €10,066,998.36, with a granted subsidy of €6,662,808.95. The project will run from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027.
ATRIA is part of the consortium led by Stellantis Spain, along with six SMEs as industrial partners (AppliedIT, Automatización de Sistemas y Aplicaciones Industriales, Electroingeniería Industrial XCLC, IFC Team, Novadays, and ATRIA) and two research and technology development centers (ITA and the University of Zaragoza).
The objective is to research and industrialize the implementation of cutting-edge technologies for quality inspection through 19 projects focused on AI-based technology development, to be carried out from 2024 to 2027.
