Problem

It is desired to study the influence of the draft angle on the hydrophobic properties of different microstructures.

Objective

Measure the contact angle in inclined microstructured areas.

ATRIA Solution

Special tools were manufactured with which to tilt the samples and the appropriate areas were removed to be able to measure the contact angle satisfactorily. Once this was done, the variation of the contact angle due to the variation of the draft angle of the pieces was verified.
