Communications with PLC for transformer

Our client asks us to build a communications between his Omron PLC and an Omicron device, which is responsible for testing the transformer coils in the first substation to check that they work well.

Objective

Find and implement a communications bridge that is responsible for transmitting the orders from the PLC to the Omicron and returning the results and the OK/NOK of the tests to the PLC.

ATRIA Solution

An application is made that is responsible for receiving the orders from the PLC through TCP/IP communication, processing them and sending the appropriate command to the Omicron device. On the other hand, it collects the results of the commands and the test of the transformers and sends them back to the PLC to register and notify the operators.
